Spread over 160 hectares, this Singapore airport is located on the northeastern side of the city. However, following the relocation of Singapore's main airport to Changi, the command of Paya Lebar Airport was transferred to Republic of Singapore Air Force in 1980.

Kallang Airport

The first civilian international airport of Singapore, Kallang Airport is also known as Kallang Aerodrome, Kallang Airfield and RAF Kallang. Officially opened in 1937, it ceased operations in 1955 when the international airport was shifted to Changi.
