Anse Lazio is one of the most beautiful beaches in the world located on Praslin Island. The turquoise sea, soft white sands, boulder-strewn areas and the backdrop of lush green tropical trees make it a picturesque setting. Anse Lazio is ideal for snorkelling, deep-sea fishing, swimming and photography.
The Anse Lazio beach measures only 600 meters in length and 25 meters in breadth and the waters here get deep quickly. It has a designated swimming area with a net and a lifeguard on duty. Restaurants and shops are available at both ends of the beach. The area starts to become crowded slowly as the sun climbs, so try to reach Anse Lazio by 9 AM or earlier to experience it in relative solitude. There are three parking areas here making it convenient to reach the beach by car.
