Loved by tourists and locals, a breathtakingly beautiful beach! Mugsail is a long stretch of clear blue water with white sand and beautiful cliffs on either side of the water. It's a magnificent and picturesque landscape! Perfect for a picnic and a quick swim, you can even drive your SUV through the beach! There are also many cute traditional huts at the beach where you can have your own barbequed lunch.
Al Fazayah Beach in Salalah is a picturesque 5-kilometre long stretch of the beach overlooking the sapphire waters of the Arabian Sea. Situated about 72 kilometres away from Salalah in Oman, the beach is accessible via a winding unpaved path over a mountain. The drive itself is bumpy, but the beautiful sight of the sea from the mountain would make the ride worthwhile. The shoreline is a mix of sandy and rocky terrain lined by natural vegetation. Not crowded often, Al Fazayah Beach could be an excellent spot for a family outing.
Ad Dahariz Beach is one of the most visited beaches in Salalah, Oman. Lined with tall coconut trees, this white sand beach is a great attraction for visitors who desire to stay on the beach late into the evening. The seashore is located about 14 kilometres from the city centre. Its scenic beauty draws locals in quite a number almost every day, but it still is not as crowded even during the tourist season.
Al Haffa Beach is an expansive seashore with coconut trees scattered in the smooth white sand. The beach is a perfect location for leisure time activities in Salalah, Oman. People can spend long evening hours watching the sunset over the sapphire waters or take walks across the beach. Many children visit in groups for flying kites here. During certain seasons, one can also get to see migratory birds searching for fish on the shore. All in all, Al Haffa Beach is an excellent escape for those seeking some alone time.
Located 60 kilometres from the city, Taqah Beach is another white-sand beach in Salalah. The attraction is also famous for Taqah Fort and birdwatching. A variety of local and migratory birds can be seen at this beach too. Here visitors can go for strolls across the beach and explore the creeks, grassy patches lining the streams and the cliff on one end of the beach. People can either walk or drive up the cliff, depending on the time they have on their hands to enjoy a stunning view of the Arabian Sea.
