Indian Citizens need a valid visa to enter Vietnam. You can apply for a Vietnam e-Visa through the e-Visa system or obtain a visa on arrival at Vietnam's International Airports. The e-Visa for Indian citizens is a single or multiple-entry tourist visa that is valid for up to 90 days.
To obtain a Vietnam visa on arrival, you need a pre-approval letter from the Vietnam Immigration Department before traveling. It is only applicable to tourists entering Vietnam by air (by flight) and cannot be used for entry by land or sea. Noi Bai International Airport (Hanoi), Tan Son Nhat International Airport (Ho Chi Minh City), and Danang Airport (Da Nang) are the only airports where visa on arrival facility is available for Indian citizens.
